1. Device and Bluetooth Connection Information:
- When you enable your device's Bluetooth function and connect to a Zhongyuguan smart door lock, we may collect a small amount of information related to the Bluetooth device (door lock), such as its name, MAC address, and connection status. This information is used solely to establish and maintain the Bluetooth connection with the door lock to enable door lock control functions.
- For internal testing and troubleshooting purposes, we may collect anonymous device identifiers from your mobile device (e.g., a small number of non-sensitive identifiers for analysis and improvement). This information cannot directly identify you personally.
2. Location Information (Permission Request Explanation):
- For Android Users: This Application will request your precise location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION). This is due to technical requirements of the Android system (typically API level 23 and higher) which stipulate that this permission must be obtained to scan for and discover nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, even if this Application does not actively collect, store, or upload your precise geographical location data. We commit that your precise location data will not be used to pinpoint your personal location, nor will it be stored, uploaded, or shared with any party. This permission is solely to fulfill the system requirements for Bluetooth scanning functionality.
- For iOS Users: This Application's use of Bluetooth functionality typically does not directly require your location permission. If a location permission request appears on your iOS device, it may be due to specific requirements of the system or third-party libraries. This Application does not actively collect, store, or upload your precise geographical location data. If, in the future, this Application needs to use location information to provide specific functions (e.g., location-based automatic door lock triggering), we will clearly inform you and explain its purpose when obtaining permission.
How We Use Information
All information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- To provide the core functions of the Application: Enabling you to connect to and control Zhongyuguan smart door locks via Bluetooth, such as unlocking, locking, and viewing door lock status.
- To optimize and improve the internal test version: Helping us identify and fix bugs, and enhance the stability and performance of the Application across different devices and scenarios.
- For internal testing and debugging: Used for the Company's internal product development, testing, and quality control.
We will not use any of your personal information for marketing purposes.
Information Storage and Retention
- The device information we collect (such as Bluetooth connection information, anonymous device identifiers) is primarily processed locally on your device.
- For internal testing and troubleshooting purposes, a small amount of anonymized or de-identified performance data and crash reports may be stored temporarily on internal servers. This data cannot identify you personally.
- We will securely delete this data after the internal testing cycle ends or when it is no longer needed.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We are committed to not selling, renting, or otherwise sharing your personally identifiable information with any third-party companies, organizations, or individuals.
Exceptions include:
- Internal Sharing: For the purposes of development, testing, and maintenance of this Application, your non-personally identifiable information may be shared among authorized teams within Zhongyuguan Technology.
